Tournament News
4-20-09 Monday
Our tournament will be held May 16th on Lake Hartwell...The blast-off will be at Popular Springs...The Host Church will be Eastanollee Baptist in Toccoa Ga...There will be a mandatory meeting there on Friday May 15th..Along with the meeting there will be food, a message of encouragement, and door prizes...Your entry needs to be called into me @ 706-244-4678...But you can pay at the meeting...Registration is 5:30 to 6:30 on Friday night...There will be no sign-ups at the ramp...Anyone,whether you are fishing the tournament or not,can come to meeting...Entry will be 30.00 with 100% payback...Trophies awarded to 10th place...Please call me because we are having problem with the web...Looking forward to seeing you...Pastor Ricky

I would like to take this opportunity to invite you to Chauga Baptist Church...We are located in Westminster SC...From the Georgia line on highway 123 we are 6 mile into South Carolina...Coming from Georgia you will take a left off of 123 on Jenkins Bridge Road...This road will be located just beside of Chauga Store...There will be a sign on 123 saying Chauga Church...We are a country church with traditonal and praise worship...We have youth, childrens, and senior adults programs...On the first Sunday evening of the month we have a fellowship meal...The third Sunday of the month we have singing for anyone that wants to come and be a part...Come and grow with a bible believing church...Where Jesus is high and lifted up...Also if you ever need a pastor to talk to, call me and I will be glad to come and talk with ...If you do not have a bible we will bring you one...In the love of Christ. Now that warm weather is upon us we see how beautiful God's creation can be...The Dogwoods and the Pear trees blooming...The grass coming back alive and the trees are showing their new leaves...What a great time of year...But being a Pastor this time of the year breaks my heart...Seems like people wants to enjoy God's creation instead of enjoying God...Make a commitment to God instead of fishing or other outdoor activities...He made these things for our enjoyment, but not for it to take the place of worship...Just remember God knows your heart, keep it pure.......God Bless, Pastor Ricky

About Casting For Christ
Casting For Christ will be hosting several fishing tournaments
in the Southeastern United States. These tournaments are are
modeled after the big, professional fishing tournaments, with
a professional atmosphere, live fish tanks, video taping,
and hopefully, no fish kills. The tournaments are about fishing,
but the point is a spiritual one. It's to lead people to Jesus,
but it will be a non-pushy atmosphere for anglers to come
and fish and enjoy themselves.
Entry fee will be $40 per boat and $5 for "Big Bass"
Competition, and the payout will be 100% of entry.
